ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION

Registration

Electronic registration has closed. If you wish to attend, you will need to register in person at the registration desk.

The registration fee is $100 for students/postdocs and $300 for all others. (Note that the registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks for all 3 days) Friday and Saturday banquets are an additional fee of $50 per dinner.

Hotel Accommodations

Off-Campus Hotels: A limited number of rooms will be held for the dates 10/23/2008 through 10/25/2008 at the Strathallan Hotel, until September 23. Their rates are $124/night for a single and $139/night for a double. You will need to make your own reservations by calling 1-800-678-7284 or book your reservation online at http://www.strathallan.com/. In order to receive the special rate, identify yourself as being with the UR Center for Visual Science - Fall Vision Meeting.

A block of rooms is available at the Radisson Hotel Rochester Airport, 175 Jefferson Rd. Single rooms are $89, and doubles are $94. Please make your reservations by October 2. Call 585-475-1910 (refer to UR-Center for Visual Sciences Fall Vision Meeting) to make your reservation.

Directions and Parking

Free shuttle transportation to the meeting site and the airport will be available for each hotel.

Maps and Directions to the University

The meeting will be held at the School of Medicine and Dentistry. The registration desk will be at the "SMD entrance" labeled on the medical center map. Parking will be available in the lot next to the Kornberg Medical Research Building. All talks will be held in the Class of '62 Auditorium, and all breakfasts, breaks, and lunches will be held in the Medical Center Atrium.
