SR Research EyeLink II

     The SR Research EyeLink II eye tracker provides binocular eye position information at up to 500Hz, and accuracy down to .5 degrees. We use it for gaze tracking and saccade contingent updating of the visual display. Our custom API provides a saccade catcher which offers an average delay of 40ms from the start of the saccade to display update, with built in false alarm suppression.

      The eyetracker cameras are currently mounted onto a pair of stereo glasses to combine the capabilities of the two pieces of hardware. The glasses provide stereoscopic vision while the cameras can follow the eyes through the shuttering LCD displays in the glasses.
