Job Description

Keith Parkins is a senior programmer in the virtual reality lab, a shared resource between CVS and BCS. In addition to maintaining the equipment and lab facility, he codes the experiments that are run in the lab as well as other labs in BCS and at the Eye Institute. Keith's interests include integrating hardware into 3D virtual environments. He has coded for CAVEs projected onto curved surfaces, head-mounted displays, and see-through augmented reality systems. He has setup multiple virtual environments in labs across the University of Rochester as well as at UT Austin.
