Symposium Details

The meeting will be held in the Class of 1962 Medical Education Auditorium located in the Medical Research Building (MRB) at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The meals will be served in the Flaum Atrium adjacent to the open reception area. All facilities are handicap accessible.

Registration Information

Register for the symposium
The registration fee for graduate students and postdocs is $90, and for all others is $150. The deadline to register has been extended to May 15, 2008

Poster Submission

Abstract submission deadline is April 20, 2008. The poster dimensions have changed to 5 ft wide by 3.5 ft high. Please note the change in orientation requirements.

If you do not receive an email confirmation within 2 business days, you may wish to contact Sara Peterson at the address above or call 585-275-2459 to ensure that your abstract was submitted.

Wireless Internet

There will be wireless internet in the Medical Center Atrium. Details will be provided in the registration packet.

Travel Fellowships

We usually provide about 10 travel fellowships to graduate students and postdocs from within the United States and abroad. The travel fellowships will cover up to $600 USD towards round-trip airfare (You must show actual receipts to be reimbursed). We will also waive your registration fee.

The travel fellowship application deadline has passed.

Hotel Accommodations

Off-Campus Hotels: A block of rooms is available at the Radisson Hotel Rochester Airport, 175 Jefferson Rd. Single rooms are $89, and doubles are $94. Please make your reservations by May 7. Call 585-475-1910 and reference the CVS Symposium when you make your reservation.
