Degrees:B.S., Optics (2002) M.S., Optics (2003) Research Interests:I am interested in developing new optical systems for high resolution retinal imaging. These systems will incorporate alternative low-cost wavefront correctors, such as MEMS mirrors, making the overall system less expensive and more commercially viable. I am currently working on the development of a Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope equipped with adaptive optics and fluorescence imaging capability. This instrument will be used to increase contrast of retinal cells that are invisible to currently available in vivo imaging systems. Selected PublicationsGray D. (2003). Devices used to correct the wavefront aberrations in human eyes. Unpublished master's thesis, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. |
