Wifi Access and Outlets

Public wifi is available at the Memorial Art Gallery. However, access to electrical outlets will be restricted during the event. Unfortunately, there are no electrical outlets in the auditorium where the talks will be held, and only a limited number are available in the ballroom designated for breakfast and breaks. Additionally, it’s important to note that the use of power strips in any outlet is strictly prohibited.

If you plan to bring a laptop, smartphone, or any device with a rechargeable battery, it’s strongly recommended to ensure they are fully charged before your arrival. Charging opportunities onsite are expected to be minimal.

COVID Policy

Covid-related procedures will be in place during the symposium. Following the University’s recommendations, wearing masks is no longer mandatory. Nevertheless, as masking remains an effective measure against the transmission of COVID-19 and various contagious diseases like the flu, attendees with symptoms of COVID or other illnesses are encouraged to isolate if feasible. If isolation is not possible, wearing a well-fitting mask is recommended. We still support and encourage those who choose to wear masks.

More information on face mask guidelines. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
